The International Communion of the Anglican Missionary Church (ICAMC)

The International Communion of the Anglican Missionary Church (ICAMC) will seek to expand the missionary work of the Anglican Missionary Church overseas. It will be a worldwide fellowship of Churches faithful to the fundamental dogmatic principles and tenets of Anglicanism, promulgated in the Book of Common Prayer and the Ordinal of the Church of England, AD 1662, and the Articles of Religion set forth in AD 1571 by the same Church.

The purpose of the International Communion of the Anglican Missionary Church will be to promote the unity of Christendom by providing a canonical means to unite Anglican Christians throughout the world who are orthodox in Faith and Order.

Given that many of the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) provinces and the newly formed Global Anglican Council affirm the ordination of women, including the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA), many orthodox Anglicans feel disaffected from these continued developments and desire a new fellowship in which to gather.

More information about the International Communion of the Anglican Missionary Church will be forthcoming.
