Foundations for Christian Morality

While the conscience serves as an internal guide to right and wrong, it is not an absolute authority unto itself. Each believer is called to cultivate a conscience rooted in the Divine Moral Law and the Mind of Christ, as imparted through the Holy Scriptures and the sacred Tradition of the Church. When the conscience is rightly disciplined by these holy standards, it shall uphold the following tenets:

PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Every individual is answerable to the Creator for their deeds, intentions, contemplations, and speech, remembering that we must all present ourselves before the judgment seat of Christ.

THE SANCTITY OF LIFE

From the moment of conception, every human life is a sacred creation of God, fashioned in His divine image. Each soul possesses infinite value, and the unwarranted ending of a human life is an offense against the Almighty.

OUR OBLIGATION TO THE CREATOR

All humanity is bound by the principles of Natural Law and the revealed will of God, according to the measure of their understanding.

HOLY MATRIMONY AND THE FAMILY

The sacramental union of one man and one woman is a divine ordinance provided for the flourishing of family and the gift of procreation. We affirm that intimacy find its rightful and holy expression solely within the covenant of marriage.

THE HUMAN CONDITION AS FALLEN

As heirs to original sin, we acknowledge that humanity has strayed far from its primal righteousness. In our rebellion against divine authority, we stand subject to God’s righteous judgment.

REDEMPTION THROUGH DIVINE GRACE

We profess that God, in His boundless love, has provided for our salvation through the redemptive sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. No human merit can achieve salvation; it is a gift of Divine Grace received through repentance and the humble acceptance of God’s mercy.

THE CALL TO HOLINESS

It is the solemn duty of the Church and all the faithful to bear witness to these moral truths, embodying them in daily life while renouncing the transient and deceptive standards of this world.
